Our History

In 2006, Disco Dervish created Orange County Roller Girls through the blood, sweat and tears of about 20 members. Since the early days, the league has been DIWO (do it with others). Under her leadership, the league grew to 12 teams, including home teams, competitive travel teams, co-ed roller derby, men's roller derby, and junior roller derby. Disco grew the league to compete on both flat and banked tracks, but more than that, she grew a community of diverse women united through roller derby.
